This is just a little something for people to post some upcoming events in their lives and for people to discus them.

This Sunday I'm going to the Sprint NASCAR Race at Texas Motor Speedway. Plan on making it a full day there got ZZ Top performing at 11:30am with the race starting at 2:30pm. I'm really pumped about this since the last race I attended was back in 1973 and nearly that long since I saw ZZ Top in concert. This is really special cause I originally was planning on the Saturday race but got informed that it was changed to the big race on Sunday, Gotta take advantage of those free tickets when they come up...lol. Will take plenty of pics and video and hopefully get some of it posted.

I remeber when I went to the NASCAR race in Dover. I had one of the best times of my life there. People were awesome and there was more beer than I could have wanted. The best part I liked is you could take your own beer into the stands so the 6 of us all had coolers that held 12 packs.

The bathrooms were immaculate :eek: I have never been to a sporting event where the bathrooms were so clean. You are so lucky to go to the race and I hope you have an awesome time.

Well my near future, Angela is ordering me a smoker so I can prepare Thanksgiving dinner (twice). Other than that I got Modern Warfare 2 to look forward to.

You'll love the smoker, let me know and I can give you some tips cooking on it, just remember to run it empty for several hours with smoke going to "season" it. It will give all the painted surfaces a coating of smoke tar to keep any paint taste or odor out of the food.

I'm thinking of getting a blackberry on friday, in particular, the curve 8520. my phone is breaking apart, and it's actually registered in my moms name (I was 17 at the time I got it) and I pay her, so Im going to give her the sim card and she can use our back up phone, and Ill just get my new plan on my own =]

other than that, not much. I like the sounds of the smoker...I love smoked food ^^

I was thinking of trying harder at school and getting my 96% mark back, or a higher grade. after that I'd like to become something that is worthy of working in, like a doctor or at least travel to a country with a better financial matters or politics...... and become a Vet :neko:

Gaming Mojo is pretty much all I'm interested in right now, that and.......:O.......:O......well, it's only 3 days to go until......:O......MW2!!! I find that pretty interesting :D.

I'm also busy looking for a dog for my dad, searching for a mutt that needs a new home, an older dog. Its pretty heartbreaking going to kennels and looking at some of the saddest dogs Ive ever seen but, Im enjoying meeting them all (I take candy :S (A) those dogs like me lol) and looking for 'the one' to give a good home to. My dad also has me searching for a new car for him, in my future I would be interested in finding one he would just buy :|. Awkward sod lol.

My baby nephew is coming over today! he's soooo cute and squidgy.. he's 9 weeks old and weighs just under 15 lbs.. he came out a heffa and loves his food.. its genetic, he dont stand a chance.. however.. I've been teaching him Zoidberg from Futurama, you know.. woop woop and claw motions with the hands, and he's starting to attempt the claw motions back and he laughs like a jelly baby.. its so cute.. a few more months of the teaching and I think we'll be onto a winner with driving my sister insane..

Well I am throwing my annual party that people come from over 100 miles to attend this Friday. I had a going away party for a co-worker 8 years ago and she freaked out and stayed for about 10 mins and we were all there so we kept partying and every year I throw it. People have come and gone yet they still email me every year about the event.

That's not fail, that's thinking ahead. Even on the day I had to pick I still wasn't sure :S lol.

GCSEs are our tests here. You get the standard lessons, but stuff like, Art, Drama etc, is optional and you can choose which to do - was 1 out of every (3) group, and do that for ur GCSE as well.

It's alright, its all different in the different countries of the UK.. i used to get asked what i was on about when i was in scotland and i talked about GCSE's.. they're called standard grades in scotland.. and AS's are the length equivalent to the scottish highers, but highers get you into uni up there.. and A2's are Advanced Highers.. and some scottish universities let you skip a year if you have good enough grades in A2's.. Irelands different again isnt it?
