Is my 360 dying?

It's louder than before and the tray won't open I have to force it open sometimes and did I mention it's loud as hell? Louder than when I first got it. I almost wonder if I should RROD it and get another one?

Sounds like it could be, or could just be the drive.

Does it sound like it's the drive making it louder or summit else? If the drives knackered it can make a hell of a noise :| and if it's not opening, it might not be sitting right or summit. Do Microsoft replace drives? If not, RROD it for a replacement ;).

The fan is really the loudest even when I am at my dashboard. But the drive is crazy noisy.... I may have to set my 360 horizontal....and of not it might get a case of RROD ;)

yeah i'd say ur drive isn't sitting right, or something come lose that its making the xbox run harder problem to struggling to read disks or something.

opening will void or warranty ey? if it was me i'd open it to take a look see at whats going on. if you aint game you called call a repair shop get there advice, google ur problem or RROD it lol
