Well i just finished this new DLC for borderlands, took me roughly 7-8 hrs was playing on and off all day, thats the main mission and all side... expect the brains's mission coz i kinda was collectiong brain not realising i hadn't excetped the mission and so my efforts aren't acknoledged since i've accepted the mission now lol
This actually got me back into the game, i kinda lost interest after finishing the main quest cbf with playthrouh 2. But this actually had a good story for a DLC, even if it was a little predictable
There are no unique weapons, no level cap increases, no bank nothing really new to add to the Borderlands experience except and a new location, monsters and story. But the story dosen't let you experience the majority of alot of the lcoations, i wuld have missed the injured claptrap missions if i hadn't googled it.
The zombies are the main attraction and it is a blast taking them down, i started on level 37 and finished on 41. Taking zombies out with 1 KO head shots from a explosion spec shotgun makes me gin lol and this is were collecting brains comes in soo handy
There are some funny referneces from other medias that i wont spoil and some great, yet fairly easy boss fights, overall i was looking for something harder to kill... yet it never came not ever the final boss. All i had to do was spam a combat rifle on them with the help of character specs that increased mag size and fire rate (soldier) and they dropped like flies.
i did have a few teachnical issues, theres still the delay in rendering and textures loading, but some of the voice tapes u collect wuld cut out and freeze, which ment i did miss a bit of info here and there and one incident with a claptrap's sound file kinda messed up. Not sure if that has anything to do with the fact i torrented the DLC or what.
Well to some things up, this DLC was more pleasent that i'd expected, the shear number of zombies you have to confront it great and the story keeps you going for the most part, but easy boss battles and no unique weapons dose forget easy about it all.
