Sonic is set to go back to his 2D roots in the next part of the Sonic saga. Following on from Sonic 3 and Sonic & Knuckles, Sonic 4 will see Sonic return to the 2D world, set after meeting Knuckles. ah, yeah its cool to see a new sonic but dissappointing you cant play as tails or knuckles, even shadow. But i think any other characters besides them are just over kill, like with the recent cartoon series, not the old one.

Playing as Sonic is just fine for me :P. Me is sooo happy :D. Need to get some points before then, no idea how much it'll be though.

Depends on price as to whether Id buy it or not. I like Sonic but, I dont get overly excited playing those games :o. Sorry Bex :P. If its cheap enough Id get it though :).

I be getting it regardless of price :o. I have a feeling it'll be 1200 points though, which may make me think...for a minute :P...about getting it, but ehh, it's Sonic 4, and that rockeths :D. Even if it were a £30 disk :o, which is actually what I was expecting it to be till I read all of the info, so it'll be cheaper than I expected anyway :).

do u no if u atleast get to go as the gold sonic? i've only ever played sonic on the old sega my mate had and i remember the beginning where ur like flying on a cloud or something as the yellow sonic then get attacked by something n lose all this stuff and return to the normal blue sonic.

He's flying as Super Sonic on.....Sonic 3 I believe. I'm guessing, if it does indeed continue on from where Sonic 3 left off, then no, there won't be. Which to me, isn't a bad thing, I dont care too much for a yellow Sonic, even if he is in Super mode. I think the Sega Tennis game thing, he can turn yellow *-). Not sure though.

Edit, just checked, it is Sonic 3. And it's Knuckles he runs into.
