I've been trying to search for a device that will allow me to connect my PS3 to my computer monitor to use it as a TV. I dont have enough room or money to buy a seperate tv.

I've found one, which has the option to switch between my PC and the PS3, giving me the option to use the Monitor for two things.

It's called the VGA Switch Box

But I'm wondering if anyone knows any devices similar to this but has multiple inputs for consoles. Planning on getting a Xbox 360 for my B'day and i wuld love to hook it up to my monitor to. Giving me the option to switch from PC to PS3 to 360 and back.

You could use a KVM switch. It's used to hook up multiple computers to to a single keyboard, mouse, and monitor.

that wont work, it need the video and audio inputs form the PS3, the red, yellow and white cables that usually go into the back of the tv

Ah. I see what you're saying. Maybe you could get a regular switch for composite or HD Cables, then run that through a composite-VGA cable.

that'll work, cept there will be no audio. my monitor dosen't have in-built speakers. and DVI or VGA dosent support audio from what i believe.

anyways been looking for a while now and it looks complicated to get it to work and i have to money to waste on experimenting, so i'm opting to just get a small 22" or something LCD TV in the next few months. Gradually save my pay for it and just make room for it, for now lol

Yeah, sometimes easier is better. I have a 22", and it's the perfect size for a bedroom/dorm. I would check out Vizio and LG.

Vizio's fairly new to the scene, but it's the same deal. Cheap but good. I managed to find a Samsung for around $200 off though, so maybe hold out for some deals.
