Last night Perth, Western Australia had, what you could call the storm of a life time. Now for us storms like this are extremely rare, i've never seen anything like this before.
having hail stones bigger than golf balls, 120km winds and 44mm of rain in 2hrs. We had family friends with windows blown in, solar panels smashed, cars dented and windscreens shattered. Two buildings roofs at my old high schools collapsed in, power poles down, branched ripped off, trees torn down, debris all over the street, major streets, underground car parks, houses flooded. Even our top university's library (UWA) had literally a river running through it. A major mud slide engulfing cars and an apartment block, trains stopped.
here are some links that show pictures and a facebook

if you youtube Perth Storm or something, bond to find some awesome vids
luckily my area was left pretty unharmed, we have a few holes in out pergola, some dents on my mum’s car (mine was fine thank god!!) power was out for well over 12 hrs, with it dropping in and out 2day.
I know this is nothing like the hurricane can storms you guys can get, but this is worst we had in Perth in a long time.
