Found this little add-on off another forum when i was trying to work out how to use some of this coding.
Firefox Add-on BBcode (https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/128)

As you can see it gives you the option to select what option you want and will automatically paste it into the text area.
Gaming Mojo does have the automated system above the text bars for basic commands etc, if you want a feature that it not available there. You can "switch editor mode" by pressing the blue and purple "A's" on the right of the text area and that will display all the coding for URL's, Images etc.
You can also try this website (http://www.phpbb.com/community/faq.php?mode=bbcode), it is a guide to BBcoding and has helped me in the past
